PATIENTS
Your Questions, Answered
Most people feel a tiny, fleeting pinch upon insertion, which quickly subsides. Once the needles are in place, patients generally experience no pain. Instead, it is common to feel a deep sense of relaxation, warmth, or heaviness, with many individuals even drifting off to sleep during the session.
NADA treatments are uniquely designed to be barrier-free and non-verbal. Sessions typically take place in a quiet, comfortable group setting. A trained practitioner will insert the five needles into your ears while you sit comfortably in a chair. You will then rest quietly for 30 to 45 minutes. There is no need to talk about your history or symptoms during the session, making it a very low-stress experience.
The frequency depends entirely on your personal goals and what you are treating. For acute withdrawal, intense cravings, or severe trauma, daily sessions may be recommended initially. For general stress management, anxiety, or ongoing recovery support, weekly or bi-weekly sessions are often ideal. Your practitioner will work with you to create a tailored schedule.
The 5-Needle Protocol is exceptionally safe. The needles used are single-use, sterile, and extremely thin. Minor side effects are rare but can include slight bruising or a drop of blood at the insertion site when the needles are removed. Occasionally, a person may experience a temporary emotional release or lightheadedness, which easily resolves with rest and hydration.
Yes. Because the protocol is entirely drug-free and non-invasive, it does not interfere with pharmaceutical medications. In fact, it is frequently used alongside conventional medical treatments, counseling, and behavioral therapies to enhance overall wellness and coping mechanisms.
Yes, absolutely. Because the protocol works by regulating the autonomic nervous system, it is widely used to treat general anxiety, chronic stress, PTSD, depression, and sleep deprivation. It is also utilized in disaster relief settings to help trauma survivors overcome acute emotional distress and hyper-arousal.
